Beautiful post...good weekend to you...hugs.
Fascinating colorful post, interesting to see so many camels in one place.
This is fantastic post! What wonderful photographs. You've captured so well this event, the people and animals involved ... one can almost breathe the air.
Definitely a cultural exposition ... wish I could have been there and experienced it.
I'm sure, like you say, it was great fun!
Great shots from the festival. Looks like it would be so much fun.
The seventh one down might be my favorite just because of all the camels gathered together like that-wow! I bet those tourists would be happy to have a picture like you took The white horse stance is pretty amazing too including the closer image of the young camels. There fur looks fuzzy. I like the contrast of the men with their turbans sitting around..then I saw the man on the brown and white horse with his jacket on- That is so unreal! I'm impressed!! You really did a nice job..

Oh my lovely shots and I would have been here sooner but it took me a day to get through the comments ;-)
Fascinating glimpse of everyday life kicked up a notch. Festivals here just don't have the same authentic feeling. Or then again maybe they do. A town nearby will be celebrating its annual Redneck Festival next weekend.
I am very happy to go to that Fairl. Very interesting and colorful. Thank you.
Everything is so beautiful that I want to go away again for India ...
