I was just thinking about you this morning - that I hadn't seen a post in a while. Well here you are - and what an awesome post it is! I love the vivid colors of the festivals and celebrations.

I really, though, like that elephant in the first shot. I enlarged the photo and am absolutely entranced by the painting around his eye - the lioness(?) with the gazelle(?) jumping out of its mouth ... simply wonderful!

What magnificent celebrations ... all so beautifully colorful and special. I love the clothing. To wear something like that would be so fabulous. And elephants are my favorite of all animals.

Hello friend,
To know Your culture and festivals did give me pleasure,as some rituals and all are similar to what we have in Jaipur, afterall we all are brothers
hey! everywhere i see women doing fasting & other rituals for their men, does anywhere men do the same for their women...
that's too needed!
