Beautiful photography of the step well, especially looking through the arches. Fascinating structure!
I would think that was a really busy place in it's day. Wonder why it's not used anymore. It is a beautiful place. Great pictures. Helen
What is the significance of a bawdi or step well? I've never heard of it. I'm also curious about what looks like a green door near the top. When I enlarged the picture, it appeared to be painted on the wall. These are intriguing pics, Bharat!
Hi!
Pretty photos. Taste of old architectures.
It has a good week!

Your country has the most amazing architecture, Bharat! Your photos are beautiful.
I think picture 5 is extremely artistic, and they are all interesting. I don't thing you'll ever run out of interesting things to show us in your part of the world.
I love the graceful archways. Congrats on your new website. All the best in 2010!
magnifique ce temple en ruine, de superbes photos.
Always been intrigued by these. Water conservation and utilization was so planned in some regions. The wells in Gujrat are covered and have only small opening, India needs to revive such traditions once again. Mindless tapping of ground water resources will leave the land more barren.
Beautiful pics, as always.
beautiful place, nice photos, congratulations my friend!

SE eu ganhar na loteria vou morar na Índia, que não pode e não deve ser compreendida nem apreendida num passeio, mas sim numa vivência real, que começa sempre em algum ponto da alma.
Obrigada.

Hello Fellow place as marvel at these magnificent specimens, photos, pardon my language but English is not too good
Não ame pela beleza, pois um dia ela acaba.
Não ame por admiração,
pois um dia você se decepciona.
Ame apenas, pois o tempo nunca pode acabar com um amor sem explicação.
